Hi, What Im going to show you is a fourteen series 14 framing staple, as you can see there’s a strip of staples there, that ones a galvanized finish and that’s 50mm in leg length and there as you can see the single staple. Just below again a strip of fourteen series staples but this time in bright steel and this one is 35mm in leg length and you can see a single staple there. Just to show you end on the crown of the staple i.e. the cross bar of the goal post, across the top, we can turn that side on, hopefully what you can see there is that crown dimension there, now on a framing staple that is 10.7mm, the 35mm same crown but as you can see different size leg length, these staples are a 16 gauge thickness wire. So there’s your bright steel and your galvanized steel. This staples used a lot for fixing wood to wood its used a lot in the furniture frame manufacturing and there is various uses for this type of staple but it is commonly used in the framing industry. Now this staple can come in various sizes the galv can go from 19mm right the way through to 50mm, were as the bright steel can go from 32mm through to 50mm.
